About
Us
Kingdom
Careers was started in February of 2002 out of a conviction
of a deep need in the evangelical church community. The need
for churches and ministries to find qualified candidates for
their ministries is so great on a national level and so many
of these churches do not have a way to reach these qualified
people. Kingdom Careers allows churches and ministries in
all denominations to post their open positions within their
church everything from Senior Pastor down to part-time
help. Also, these churches can search our database of resumes,
to find qualified candidates. In servicing those who are looking
for ministry opportunities, Kingdom Careers allows people
to post a free resume online, which will be viewed by potential
employers across the country.
In
addition, these candidates can regularly search our list of
open positions to see if there may be a good fit for them. Our
goal is not to usurp the power of the Holy Spirit in these
decisions, but to simply open the door to people who would
have otherwise not been reached. We hope to encourage, build
up and spur on those in ministry to fulfill their calling
and to continue running the race that is set before
them.

Jeff
Chandler - General Manager
In 1992, Jeff Chandler began his career in the Christian music
industry with the Diadem Music Group, working as a radio promoter.
He worked in the fields of radio, marketing, A&R and production
during his tenure with Diadem, before working for EMI Christian
Music Group in 1994. In 1995, Chandler started The Chandler-Mills
Agency along with partner, Scott Mills. The company specialized
in Radio Promotion as well as Marketing. Over the next few
years, the company garnered many #1 singles as radio promoters
across several formats in Christian radio. In the realm of
promotional marketing, they formed partnerships with ministries
to produce specialized CDs for youth events - creating products
for "See You at the Pole," Youth With a Mission,
"DC/LA", a division of Youth for Christ, among others.
In 1999,
Chandler took a career turn into the field of executive recruiting.
He worked until 2002 with companies like IBM, Xerox, Nationwide
and others, filling executive needs for those companies.
"The
executive recruiting path never seemed like a natural progression
for me career-wise," said Chandler. "I sometimes
wondered why the Lord had me in this profession when my heart
was still beating for ministry. I always enjoyed recruiting,
but I hoped for a way of combining those skill sets with my
vision for the Church. When Jim Van Hook and I began talking
about Kingdom Careers and its function for churches and ministries,
the big picture of what the Lord had been crafting in my life
suddenly became so clear."
Chandler
now assumes the role of General Manager at Kingdom Careers.
He lives in Franklin, Tennessee with his wife Michele and
their 7-month-old daughter, Emma.
